Hospitalist in Danbury, CT     Date Posted: 11/2/2009 Description: Danbury Office of Physician Services (DOPS), an affiliate of Danbury Health Systems, Inc. currently has hospital based opportunities for dedicated Physician Assistants. Under the direction of attending Physicians and depending on assigned shift, responsibilities will include admitting patients, conducting daily rounds on patients in our service as well as consult surgical patients. Responsibilities also include admitting and managing patients assigned to the Outpatient Observation Unit. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and the ability to work variable shifts. Must be a graduate of an accredited PA program and candidates must be certified in the appropriate specialty within 90 days of hire.
