Emergency Medicine in Lewiston, ME     Date Posted: 8/13/2009 Description: Frank and I are still in the ER at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston Maine and we have two PA positons open in the ER. We are looking for people with ER experience or acute care experience. We will consider a new grad if they have previous ER, paramedic or ER nursing experience. Our ER is expanding and we are constructing a whole new department starting this fall. Our census has increased so we are looking to expand our midlevel team. Our hospital is a level 2 trauma center. The midlevels work in First Care as well as the main ED and rotate through a small rural hospital in Bridgeton ,Maine in the summer when the census increases due to the influx of out of state residents.
