Write an essay on the following topic: Apply Albert Memmi’s lessons in The Colonizer and the Colonized to "The Battle of Algiers."

The essay should be approximately 1200 words (5-6 pages). It will be due on the last day of class: Thursday, May 4^th. If you would like to refer to Memmi’s arguments as outlined in parts of the book not assigned for class, you can find at least one copy of the book on reserve in the Library.
