    Twenty Most Common Errors

Several years ago, Andrea Lunsford and Robert Connors compiled a list of the most common errors in student papers.  This link to the website for the St. Martin's Handbook (5th edition) by Andrea Lunsford provides a list of the errors with the relevant rules and examples.  While you will not have access to all the exercises unless you purchase the text, you might want to use the list as a means of self-assessment or review.
