UNIT 13 - CLINICAL SYNDROMES
Selected patient disabilities are presented here in Unit 14, not necessarily to broaden one’s knowledge of various pathological conditions of the CNS, but rather to synthesize previous learning as related to structure and function.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this unit the student will be able to:
Describe in writing characteristic abnormal movements which are seen in patients with C.V.A., C.P., Parkinson’s, and cerebellar dysfunction.
Describe in writing the structures and system involved in motor dysfunction found in patients with C.V.A., C.P., Parkinson’s, and cerebellar dysfunction.
Describe in writing the clinical manifestations of patients with C.V.A., C.P., Parkinson’s and cerebellar dysfunction.
