This an historical era for higher education. Only once in our history will the human species transition from educational practices based on metaphors about how we think people learn to pedagogies based on a real understanding of the cognitive development of learning. We are the generation of educators beginning to grapple with that transition. This is also a special time in the history of Quinnipiac, as we graduate from Quinnipiac College to become Quinnipiac University.
