Emerald Publishing Launches Journal of Historical Research in Marketing!

Emerald Publishing announces the launch of a new journal, the Journal of Historical Research in Marketing (JHRM). JHRM is the only quarterly, peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality, original, academic research that focuses entirely on marketing history and the history of marketing thought.

JHRM is now inviting submissions for early issues of the journal.  The first issue is scheduled to be published in March 2009 with a submission deadline of July 15, 2008.  It will be a special issue celebrating the contributions to historical research in marketing by the late Dr. Stanley C. Hollander who was a member of the faculty at Michigan State University and is considered by many to be the founder of the ‘new’ marketing history.

Detailed information about JHRM, the call for papers, submission procedures, and editorial board is available here. Information on JHRM on the Emerald Publishing website is available here.

Please check the menu to your left for links to information about CHARM and the CHARM Association.  If you have suggestions about other information, resources, or Internet links to information that would be of interest to marketing historians, please let us know.
