The midsemester test has five parts:  parts I, II, III and IV are multiple choice or short answer (and sometimes tricky), and part V has two short coding problems.  There are 40 questions worth two points each on parts I, II, III and IV (total of 80 points), and the last two coding problems are 10 points each for a total of 100 points on the test.
